Another joy in my life :)

Yesterday this handsome fella' became a part of my household.

He is a seven week old Maltese. As of right now, he has no name. I am watching him, learning about his personality so that I can give him a good one (he didn't like Corto). For the time being though, I call him "perrito" or when I am trying to be funny "puppycito".

Puppy and I have been spending a lot of time together. Yesterday afternoon we napped together, and last night he became my roommate. He didn't want to sleep in his bed though (he liked mine) so he spent more than half of the night crying. But he is so good! when he had to pee he used his newspaper. I love him already :)

Our other dogs like him a lot, especially Katerina. She wants to carry him around in her mouth all the time but he is feisty and he won't let her. He already learned that if he goes under most of the tables here, she won't be able to get to him. He is a smart little pooch!

Anyway, yeah...I am done gushing and bragging about my new child. Today I am going to stuff him in his little bag and I am going to take him out to see the world. I mean seriously, if he is going to hang with me he needs to be sociable :)

Name him Fuggs, since you won't accept it, even though it's clearly a girl's name.

b@b@- I don't think so...

rainypete- I can't use a leash for puppy because he is incredibly small. If someone accidentally steps on him they could kill him. He weighs exactely a pound. I won't even consider a leash until he is bigger.

grant- Why don't you geta dog and call him/her Fuggs? That's a terrible name!

... i have a 9 year old female teacup maltese named Muffy back in Miami ... she's old and she's never gotten laid but I luv her nonetheless ... i understand the naming dilema ... back when i was wee high we drove up to a farm in Jupiter to eat a lechon. the farmer gave me a tiny little chicken which instantly became my best friend. i would carry it around everywhere on my shoulder. however, my two siblings and I couldn't settle on a name. My sister wanted to name it Rainbow, my brother wanted to name it Sparky (after our last two pets) and I wanted to name it George. We settled on Sparky Rainbow George the Third. The name was longer than the chicken. Anyways I associate white with pure, magical sentiments. Wizard, Merlin, and Puff come to mind rather quickly. So does Pearl but that is more femenine. However, drawing from my experience in naming pipes I can tell you that it's best to wait and let it come to you ...
