Rain? What rain?

Life is good again.

This weekend I decided to dive head first into one of the things that I am most afraid of in this life: my taxes. Despite all the psychosomatic symptoms that I was presenting every time I looked in the general direction of my tax papers, I pulled myself together, got it done and came out with the kind of refund that could subsidize a trip to Thailand for a week. GO ME!!!

I also finished my hostess duty as Jadal is gone and I have no more guests lined up again until May, and then I am off to my vacation. 1 month and 7 days.

I restarted doing my morning yoga and I am also no longer afraid of Pilates. Though I still can’t understand why something that is theoretically so simple, causes so much pain and suffering while you get used to it…hmmmm…but in any case, I am so trying to get back into my formerly kick ass body that I even signed up for belly dance classes. I don’t know what good that will do, but I guess we’ll see.

Other than that, I discovered that buying food via Fresh Direct is way cheaper and way better than buying it in the supermarket. Needless to say, the fine people of Food Emporium have just lost a customer. Oh well!!
