This is such a sad story. I visited a butterfly conservatory called Magic Wings in New Hampshire a couple of years ago. It was one of the neatest places I've ever been to. Thousands of butterflies (hundreds of species) flying all around you inside this huge building (netted roof to protect them). Just amazing. Very nice blog! On to read more.

I think it'll be the weather that gets the butterflies down to the point where we can truly hurt them.

Isn't it amazing that the most intelligent species on this planet has actually the most destructive mentality too?
I guess thats the curse we will have to live with and the mankind will have to perhaps die with.

When iw as a kid in DR I remember my brother and I took care of one that for some reason couldn't fly the next day it flew away.
