Bad girl therapy.

It seems to me that all I have to do in order to want to leave my place is get depressed. In an effort to try to focus on other things aside that which can not be named, I have taken it upon myself to party like a rockstar. This may or may not be a good thing because I had promised myself that I would give up most of my rockstar behaviors; but in light of the circumstances, better rockstar behavior than I-am-going-to-jump-out-the-window behavior. So that’s that.

Thursday night I went out with Harold. We went to Pop lounge and had the first few of the many drinks I had last weekend. It was fun. I like hanging out with other virgos (no offense to members of other signs). In my experience, virgos are always so clear about stuff that there is no room for misunderstangings!

Friday night, I met up with Tiffany, Stephanie, and Kristin for sangria at Victor’s CafĂ©. Originally, my intention was to just have a glass of sangria and then be on my merry way. I was out going for a walk, I had no intention of being sociable after dark; however, I don’t know what happened. Next thing I knew, it was way past midnight and I was sitting at Tio Pepe with a plate of mushroom quesadillas in front of me, a glass of sangria in my hand talking to this guy about how I am SO much more than my work. Hahaha

Anyway, on Saturday Kari, Che and I went to Summerstage. It was awesome. Although we got there fashionably late due to our pre-gaming activities, we made it in time to catch the boys of Tortured Soul. That was great. I gotta give those guys props because not only did they perform a great set, I can't even imagine performing on 90 degree weather wearing a tie!

There is nothing like having a few drinks, having a few smokes (I know! I know!), work on my tan, and listen to great live music all at the same time :)

After that party was over. We stayed in the park for a while, first cooling off by the lake, then by this really cool drum circle we stumbled upon andfinally by the dancing rollerskaters. Yes, I did dance with a rollerskater while I was barefoot. I really do wish I had a picture of that because that really was comedy! Margherita would have loved it. Too bad she couldn't come.

That night, once we parted ways, I went home, showered and went to Cielo. I don’t even remember what went on there…all I know is that the next day my feet were killing. For a while there I was actually wondering if I had walked to the place!

Anyway, in an effort to recuperate from what was a most tiring weekend, I went to spend the day at Dan’s. Though we hung out at his place for most of the day having some vodkas and what not, we did go to the park and got an itty bitty bit of exercise.

Now it’s Monday, and I am slowly but surely going broke AND the Holiday weekend is coming up. Also, unfortunately, I am still quite sensitive in regards to life in general so I think that I must continue to party. I intend to do so until I forget...
So like they say: Visa. Everywhere you want to be.

Life is what you make of it.
I miss NYC weekends. They are great, but not crazy like those here in Vegas can be.
